The instructions are concisely illustrated and contain all the information you will need to retro fit a sailing rig to your Origami including materials and tools needed. The conversion should take less than 4 hours to complete. The sailing rig takes just a few minutes to assemble so you can be out on the water having fun in no time!

WoodenWidget recommend the use of the Optimist sailing rig as it is the most popular sailing dinghy in the world so it is an easy matter to get your hands on one either new or secondhand, perhaps from a sailing school. The plans include advice about using other rigs so you can fit a rig that suits your needs.

Please note that the Origami 6
sailing dinghy will need the Optimist sail to be cut down a
little. This is an easy job for any sailmaker or you could do it yourself if you have a sewing machine. Full instructions are given.
